This Privacy Policy explains how Andnetics ("Andnetics", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal data collected through andnetics.in, our blog, project-enquiry channels, career features, and related communications. It is intended to provide a clear notice under applicable privacy and information-technology laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules as their provisions apply.

This Policy covers our website operations. A separate contract, statement of work, employment notice, or client-specific privacy notice may apply when we process data while delivering services for a customer.

3. Personal Data We Collect

Career applications	Name, email, phone, role, qualifications, experience, skills, projects, portfolio and LinkedIn links, resume link, location, expected salary, notice period, work preference, and cover letter.	When the career submission feature is enabled, application data may be sent through Google Apps Script and stored in Google Workspace/Sheets for recruitment review.
Blog comments and replies	Name, email, comment or reply, submission time, and a one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address for anti-spam controls.	Your name, comment/reply, and time may be displayed publicly. Your email address and IP-derived hash are not displayed publicly.
Blog likes	A randomly generated visitor identifier stored in your browser and the articles liked with that identifier.	The identifier helps remember like status and reduce duplicate counts. It does not contain your name or email.
Blog administration	Administrator name, email, password hash, session and reset tokens, authored content, and uploaded images.	This information is used to secure and operate authorized blog-management accounts.
Website and analytics data	IP-derived location, browser, device, operating system, language, pages viewed, events, referrer, session information, and analytics identifiers.	Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are installed to measure use, diagnose performance, and understand how visitors navigate the website.

Our hosting, API, and security systems may also create technical logs containing IP address, timestamps, requested URLs, response status, and diagnostic information. Please do not send Aadhaar numbers, financial credentials, health information, or other sensitive documents unless we specifically request them through an agreed secure channel.

4. How We Collect Data

We collect information:

directly from you when you contact us, comment, apply for a role, or communicate about a project;
automatically from your browser or device through analytics, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies;
from third-party communication platforms when you choose to contact us through them; and
from publicly available professional sources when reasonably necessary for recruitment or business communication.

If you give us another person’s data, you must have authority to do so and must provide them with any notice required by law.

5. Why We Use Personal Data

We process personal data for lawful purposes including:

responding to enquiries and taking steps requested before entering a service engagement;
preparing proposals, delivering contracted services, invoicing, support, and client relationship management;
receiving and assessing career applications and communicating with candidates;
operating blog comments, replies, likes, authoring, and administration;
preventing spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
measuring website performance and improving content, navigation, and services;
maintaining business, tax, security, and legal records; and
establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims and complying with lawful requests.

Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may be based on your consent, your request for services, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or a permitted legitimate use. You may withdraw consent by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage

Google Analytics uses measurement code and may place identifiers such as the _gacookie to distinguish users and sessions. Its default implementation may collect session statistics, approximate location, and browser/device information. Google Tag Manager helps load and manage measurement tags.

Our blog stores andnetics_blog_visitor_id in local storage for likes. Authorized administrators may also store an authentication token and basic admin profile in local storage. Local-storage values remain until removed by the website, the administrator, or the browser user.

You can clear or block cookies and local storage through browser settings or privacy tools. Blocking them may affect analytics, remembered likes, or administrative login. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential measurement technologies, we will use the controls required for that context.

7. When We Share Data

We may disclose limited personal data to:

hosting, database, infrastructure, email, security, and technical-support providers;
Google for Analytics, Tag Manager, and—when enabled—Google Apps Script/Workspace career processing;
WhatsApp/Meta or your email provider when you choose those communication methods;
professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and prospective transaction advisers under appropriate duties;
government, regulatory, judicial, or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is lawfully required; and
a successor organization in a merger, restructuring, financing, or transfer of business, subject to applicable safeguards.

We do not sell personal data. We do not permit service providers to use data for their own unrelated purposes merely because they process it for us. Third-party platforms may, however, process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use them.

8. International Processing

Some technology and communication providers may process or store information outside your state or country. Where cross-border processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards consistent with applicable law and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

9. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose:

enquiry and client correspondence is retained while the opportunity or relationship is active and thereafter as needed for business, tax, legal, or dispute records;
career information is retained for the current recruitment process and, where appropriate and permitted, for consideration for future suitable roles;
approved comments remain with the article unless removed; associated private fields remain while required for operation, moderation, security, or legal purposes;
like identifiers remain until the like record or browser identifier is removed;
admin records remain while the account is active and for a reasonable security/audit period after deactivation; and
analytics information is retained according to our configured Google Analytics retention settings.

We may retain limited records longer where law, a dispute, fraud prevention, or a legal hold requires it. Data that is no longer required is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. Current controls include restricted administrative routes, hashed administrator passwords, expiring authentication and reset tokens, upload type/size restrictions, origin controls, input limits, and one-way IP hashing for comment-rate controls. No online system or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Public Blog Contributions

Blog names, comments, and replies are public. Do not include phone numbers, email addresses, confidential information, or another person’s personal data in a public comment. We may moderate or remove content under our Terms and Conditions, but public content may already have been copied or indexed by others.

12. Children’s Data

This website and our business services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly ask a child to submit personal data without the consent or authorization required by law. If you believe a child has provided data improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law and its effective provisions, you may have the right to:

request information about personal data processed and the parties with whom it has been shared;
request correction, completion, updating, or erasure;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
raise a grievance and, after using our grievance process, approach the competent authority;
nominate another individual to exercise specified rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
opt out of optional communications.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law and aim to resolve ordinary requests within 30 days.

Include your name, contact details, the relevant interaction, and the remedy requested. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 7 business days and resolve them within 30 days, subject to complexity and applicable law.

Our website links to social networks, WhatsApp, Google services, client websites, and other external resources. Their privacy practices are controlled by those providers. Review their policies before submitting information. This Policy does not cover data collected directly by an external website or application acting for its own purposes.
