Does this tool store my file?
No. The selected file is processed in your browser and is not sent to our tool server. Temporary preview and processing data stay in this tab and are cleared when you leave or close it.
Image quality and formats
PNG is the default and avoids an additional lossy encode; JPEG and WebP use the selected quality setting and can change image data. JPEG cannot keep transparency, so transparent areas become white. Browser support determines which source formats can be opened. The original is never modified.
